This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you access or use the Service, visit our website at troublesome.ai (the “Site”), or otherwise interact with us.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to this Privacy Policy.

1.1 Information You Provide to Us
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when you create an account, use the Service, or communicate with us, including:

Billing Information: Payment method details (processed by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full credit card numbers).

To Provide and Operate the Service: Processing your data through the Taskwell platform, including AI-powered features, to deliver the functionality described in our documentation.

To Process Transactions: Managing billing, payments, and subscription administration.

To Communicate with You: Sending transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, service notifications), responding to support requests, and providing product updates.

To Improve the Service: Analyzing usage patterns, diagnosing technical issues, and developing new features and functionality.

To Ensure Security: Detecting, preventing, and responding to fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues.

To Comply with Legal Obligations: Meeting applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements.

To Generate Aggregated Insights: Creating anonymized, aggregated, and de-identified data for analytics, benchmarking, and service improvement purposes. Such data does not identify you or any individual.

3. Artificial Intelligence And Data Processing
The Taskwell platform uses artificial intelligence technologies, including large language models provided through third-party AI infrastructure providers, to deliver its core functionality. This section explains how your data is handled in connection with AI features.

3.1 How AI Processes Your Data
When you use AI-powered features of the Service, your inputs (prompts, data, and instructions) are transmitted to AI model providers to generate responses. These inputs are processed in real time to deliver the Service’s functionality.

3.2 No Training on Customer Data
We do not use your Customer Data to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI models. Your data is processed solely to generate responses within the Service and is not retained by the underlying AI model providers for training purposes. We contractually require our AI infrastructure providers to maintain the same commitment.

3.3 AI Data Retention
Inputs and outputs from AI-powered features are retained only as necessary to provide the Service (including conversation history and audit logging) and are subject to the same data retention and deletion policies as other Customer Data described in this Privacy Policy.

3.4 AI Output Accuracy
AI-generated outputs may contain errors or inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying AI outputs before relying on them for business decisions.

4. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

4.1 Service Providers
We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:

Cloud Infrastructure: Providers that host, store, and process data on our behalf.

AI Model Providers: Providers that supply the large language models powering the Service’s AI features.

Payment Processing: Providers that manage billing and payment transactions.

Analytics: Providers that help us understand usage patterns and improve the Service.

Communication Tools: Email and customer support service providers.

Our service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing their services to us and to maintain appropriate security measures. We will provide at least thirty (30) days’ notice before engaging a new subprocessor.

4.2 Third-Party Integrations
When you enable integrations with third-party applications, data may be shared between the Service and those applications as authorized by you. These third-party services are governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.

4.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

4.4 Business Transfers
In the event of a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of such transaction. We will notify you of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specific retention practices include:

Account Information: Retained for the duration of your account and for a reasonable period thereafter for record-keeping and legal compliance purposes.

Customer Data: Retained during the Subscription Term and made available for export for thirty (30) days following termination or expiration. After the export period, Customer Data is deleted in accordance with our standard practices unless retention is required by law.

Usage and Log Data: Retained for up to twenty-four (24) months for analytics, security, and service improvement purposes, after which it is anonymized or deleted.

Billing Records: Retained as required by applicable tax and financial reporting laws.

You may request deletion of your personal information at any time by contacting us at privacy@troublesome.ai. We will process such requests in accordance with applicable law, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain information.

6. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

Encryption of data in transit (TLS) and at rest.

Access controls and authentication mechanisms for all system access.

Regular security monitoring and logging of system activity.

Use of enterprise-grade cloud infrastructure security, including network isolation, encryption services, and compliance certifications.

Periodic review and assessment of security practices.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, and you use the Service at your own risk.

The Service is hosted in the United States using Amazon Web Services infrastructure. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States or other jurisdictions where our service providers operate.

Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards for international data transfers, including standard contractual clauses or other mechanisms approved by relevant authorities.

10. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 18, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
